Can I order and pay over the phone?

Yes and you can also download an order form and fax or post it to our office.

What is the charge for postage?

Standard postage $2.50
(per product - within Australia)

Express Post $10
(max. 3 products - within Australia) Delivered within 2 days in Australia.

International postage $12
(max. 3 products).

Postage for large quantities by arrangement with star allergy alerts.

How long before I receive my order?

Standard orders should be received within 3-5 working days (within Australia).
Express Post should be received within 2 working days (within Australia)
International orders should be received within 7-14 working days.

Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for delays in the postal service for either local or international customers. If you need your order for a specific date or day then please contact us directly to arrange a courier service.

T-SHIRTS, BADGES and STICKERS...

What are the t-shirt sizes?

xsmall (size 0/1) - 12" front chest
small (size 2) - 13" front chest
medium (size 4) - 14" front chest
large (size 6) - 15" front chest
xlarge (size 8) - 16" front chest

Do the t-shirts have special washing instructions?

Yes. It is recommended to turn the t-shirt inside-out before washing and do not tumble dry the t-shirts as the alert image may crack and/or fade.

Do the t-shirts come in any other colours?

No, only white t-shirts are available on the Star Allergy Alerts website - it is very versatile that way! But having said that, there are many different styles (and colours) of clothing and promotional products available on our Cafepress Site.

Are the t-shirts on the US Cafepress site the same size as the ones available on the Star Allergy Alerts website?

The t-shirts on the US cafepress site are slightly smaller than the sizes we offer in Australia, so it is recommended that you order the 'next size up' for your child.

Can I choose my own text for badges, t-shirts and stickers?

We do have a 'special order' badge service, where we can personalise badges for your/your child's particular allergy or medical condition. Please contact us for details... Unfortunately we cannot offer the same service for t-shirts or stickers. We do, of course, welcome suggestions for new designs and if there is enough interest, we will introduce it into the range.

Is it possible to have different designs as part of the badge and sticker pack?

Yes, for special requests, we are happy to make up a combination pack of badges and stickers. Please email your request. Our badges and stickers are also available in large quantity multi-design packs.

Is it possible to have just one design in a multi-design pack?

Yes, just select the one design you want and leave the others blank.

Are the badges, t-shirt designs and stickers on the website the actual size?

No, the stickers and badges are 57mm in diameter. The design on the tshirt is 190mm (19cm) in diameter.

Can I order my badges, t-shirts and stickers with a different colour background?

We can supply 'special order' badges, but not stickers or t-shirts. We do welcome suggestions for new colours and designs, so please contact us with your suggestions.

How do I apply the stickers?

Apply the stickers to a flat, clean and dry surface and smooth over to remove any air bubbles. For best results, allow to set for up to 12 hours before immersing in water.

Are the stickers waterproof or microwave safe?

Yes, the vinyl stickers are waterproof and microwave safe but obviously over time they may wear and fade.

EPIPEN POUCHES...

Our Epipen Pouches should not be exposed to extremes of temperature. They are designed to keep the medication at a temperature between 15-30 degrees celcius and therefore should not be kept in a hot car or in direct sunlight, and when worn by the child, should also be kept out of direct sunlight by wearing underneath a t-shirt. In cold weather, the pouch should also be tucked under a jumper or jacket.

What size are the pouches?

The pouches measure approx. 19 1/2 cms long x 7 1/2 cms deep

What are the strap sizes?

The Strap sizes are:- children (S - 33 to 60cms), teenagers (M - 42 to 80cms) and adults (L - 65 to 124cms)

BRACELETS...

What are the measurements of the bracelets?

The bracelet straps are adjustable up to 24cms and are suitable for children up to adults.

Do the bracelets come with engraving?

No the bracelets come without engraving, so you will need to take to your local jeweller or engraver to engrave your own personalised message.

How much engraving can I fit on the allergy/medical bracelet plaques?

You can fit up to 3 lines on the front and 3 lines on the back (12 characters each line including spaces).

Are the bracelet straps washable?

Yes, definitely! Handwashing is best and you can even toss them in while you're doing the dishes!

What is the delivery time on the bracelets?

Please allow between 3-7 days for delivery on all bracelets and straps.

Can I purchase product at wholesale prices for my retail store?

Yes we welcome wholesale orders! Simply contact Star Allergy Alerts for details.

How do I order online?

You can place an order via this site by making your selections and using the 'Add to Cart' buttons. Upon checkout of your shopping cart, enter your delivery details to complete your order and select a payment option.

Is it secure?

When placing an order, your details are collected by a secure server using 128-bit SSL encryption, which means all of your personal information is encrypted to protect your details from fraud. We do not store credit card details.

What about payment?

All prices shown are in AUD$ (Australian Dollars) and include GST where applicable. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. Your card will be charged upon order processing. We also accept cheques and money orders in Australian dollars for postal orders.

Returns refunds and exchanges

Should any of our products arrive in less than perfect condition, please contact us via email within 7 days of receiving the goods. The item should then be returned by mail and upon receipt and inspection, should the item be deemed imperfect, we will happily make arrangements to replace the item at our earliest convenience. Acceptance of returned goods by the seller should not constitute acceptance of any claim. No postage claims on returned goods will be accepted.
